The problem
Bankrate launched an internal agency to tackle brand efforts. We had a dream of bringing Bankrate into the future with a fresh voice, new products, and maybe a commercial or two. As part of this revitalization effort, I was tasked with creating a new voice + tone guide.
The process
To make sure what we created in our voice + tone guide was aligned to the business's overall vision, I interviewed stakeholders and led co-creation branding sessions to gain alignment and buy-in. Afterward, I compiled everything into this 25-page document that is still in use with the Bankrate team, and has served as the skeleton for voice + tone guides on multiple Red Ventures businesses.
